1997 Toyota Bandeirante Crew Cab — Four-Door Custom Build

The four-door Bandeirante is the rarest and most useful shape in the entire Brazilian Land Cruiser family — a full crew cab with four real doors and a steel bed behind it. Toyota do Brasil built them in small numbers for working fleets, not collectors, which is exactly why finding a straight one is so difficult. This is a frame-off build of a 1997 BJ55LP crew cab, finished in deep forest green over a black-out wheel and bumper package.

Born in Brazil, raised in the USA. The truck is stripped to the last bolt in our Brazilian shop, restored there, and then shipped to Savannah and trucked up to Atlanta where our team installs the final exterior upgrades and delivers it on a Georgia title with full import documentation.

Stage 1 — Full frame-off restoration

Complete disassembly, then a chassis revision for cracks and weak spots before a full sandblast, primer and paint with an anti-corrosion additive. Drivetrain and suspension are rebuilt and refreshed, leaf springs restored, and a custom shackle set gives roughly three inches of lift. Hardware is replaced or restored and re-anodized where parts allow. Every bushing, seal, gasket and weather strip is new — drivetrain, chassis, body and cabin — along with all new glass, window regulators, latches, knobs and locks.

Stage 2 — Custom interior

Full interior in vinyl or leather, in a color of your choosing from our selection. Custom reclining bucket seats up front and a 40/60 split rear bench, new three-point belts in front and lap belts in the rear, new dash pad, door cards and headliner. Custom molded carpet with sound deadening and floor mats. Vintage Air air conditioning and heat, and a Pioneer SPH-10BT Bluetooth head unit with front door speakers.

Stage 3 — Exterior upgrades

Brush guard with optional winch plate, roof rack, four cubed spotlights on the rack and two on the brush guard, and upgraded LED headlights. Bilstein shocks and dampers. Mickey Thompson Classic III wheels in black, 17x9, wrapped in BFGoodrich 315/70 R17 mud- or all-terrain tires.
