The 70 Series is the Land Cruiser that replaced the 40 in 1984 and, in much of the world, has never gone out of production — the same square body, solid axles and leaf springs that made the FJ40 a legend, updated for another forty years of work. The short-wheelbase two-door is the purest version: compact, tough, and the direct descendant of the truck that built the Land Cruiser name.
This is a GCC-specification example — supplied new into the Gulf, where the dry climate keeps bodies free of the corrosion that ends most 70 Series elsewhere. Left-hand drive and a manual gearbox, showing 112,000 km — roughly 69,600 miles — which is unusually low for a 1986 truck. It is presented very clean: two-tone beige with red side graphics, a chrome brush guard over round headlamps, a rear-mounted spare with cover and a jerry-can carrier, and a tan diamond-stitched interior with matching quilted floor mats. The seller describes it as excellent overall condition, recently serviced and ready to use.
Sourced and inspected in the UAE through the Overland Imports program and imported to North America under full federal compliance. Restoration, upgrades or an interior refresh can be carried out in our Atlanta shop before delivery.
