This 1970 Volkswagen Type 2 Kombi underwent a restoration and a 23-window conversion in 2021 after being imported into the U.S. from Brazil. It is powered by an air-cooled 1,300cc flat-four engine mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Features include Alpine roof windows, pop-out side windows, pop-out safari-style windshields, dual wood-slat roof racks, and a sliding vinyl roof panel. Finished in blue and light grey over a tan and white vinyl interior.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
As part of the restoration by Overland Imports of Atlanta, Georgia, the exterior was given a 23-window conversion and refinished in Blue and Light Grey. Features include white bumpers, dual mirrors, pop-out side windows, a pair of wood-slat roof racks, a sliding vinyl roof panel, pop-out safari-style windshields, and passenger-side barn doors. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 14-inch white steel wheels with chrome hub caps is wrapped in new whitewall radial tires equipped with portawall whitewalls.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The split front bench seat, folding middle seat, rear seat, trim, and door panels are upholstered in tan and white vinyl. Features include manual steering and brakes, a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter, and a radio block-off plate.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-kph speedometer and a fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver.

Power is provided by an air-cooled 1,300cc flat-four engine mated to a four-speed manual transaxle.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Type 2 was factory-equipped with a fully independent suspension and a rear drive axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel manual drums. Belly Pans also added for extra strength and matching the way the German buses were created.
